A lot of people are abandoning home phone service because it’s expensive for Mom and Dad and possibly one or more kids to have cell phones. If you’re kids don’t have cell phones and are going to be home alone while you step out for a movie, they need to be connected in an emergency. Ooma is a great way to go.
Ooma uses voice over the internet protocol (VOIP), but offers better wound quality than many other VOIP services.
