I don’t say this lightly, but my kids say that this is their favorite way to learn math. What my kids love about it is the story about a little 5 year old boy named Fred, who happens to be a professor at Kittens University. He may be wise, but he has some silly antics.
What I love about it is that the kids can see how math can come in handy in real life situations. Think about all the text book math you had in school. You probably learned how to solve the equations, but do you know when it will be helpful in your life today? In most cases, I bet not.
As far as curriculum goes, the books are affordable. You don’t write in them, so you can use them over and over again and resell them when you’re done.

It’s also wonderful that my kids have been inspired to do other things. My son, Isaac, also loves art. So, after reading the lesson for lesson 16, he drew some art on the page in his notebook where he answered the questions. This is what I love about homeschooling! He can expand upon what he has learned in other disciplines because we are flexible about which lesson comes next.
